Admission Criteria Requirements

The selection of applicants is based upon consideration of individual academic achievement. In the case of mature entry candidates, work experience is also taken into account.

Normal Entry 

• Minimum of a verifiable Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) or its equivalent with a minimum of six credits including English and Mathematics.

Mature Entry

• Mature entry applicants with MSCE or O-level six credits including English and Mathematics and either
• Applicants with a diploma in education or diploma in technical field and two years’ relevant work experience will be admitted in second year. Or
• Applicants with a diploma in education and diploma in technical field and two years’ relevant work experience in related field will be admitted in third year.
