Reporting to the Registrar, the Deputy Registrar (HRM) shall be responsible for management of Human Capital.


Key Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Developing, implementing, reviewing and monitoring human capital policies, plans, strategies, systems, procedures, regulations and budgets.
  2. Coordinating recruitment, selection of staff. 
  3. Preparing employment contracts.
  4. Coordinating human resource planning and development programmes.
  5. Administering performance management systems. 
  6. Handling labour and employee matters.
  7. Coordinating and implementing occupational health and safety standards.  
  8. Coordinating staff welfare issues. 
  9. Preparing reports. 
  10. Allocating work and appraising staff.


Minimum Education Qualifications and Experience 

  • Master’s degree in Human Resource Management or related fields.
  • At least 5 years relevant experience in a large organization.
