The Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS) is pleased to announce that its 2nd graduation ceremony will be held on Monday, 26th May, 2025 at its main campus in Blantyre from 9:00 am. His Excellency Dr. Lazarus McCarthy Chakwera, President of the Republic of Malawi and Chancellor of the University will preside over the congregation.

ACADEMIC DRESS

All graduands are advised to collect their academic dress from the University starting from 22nd May, 2025 at 8:30 am. The fee for hiring academic attire is K50,000.00 for certificates and diplomas, K75,000 for undergraduate degrees, and K100,000 for all postgraduate diplomas and degrees. All graduands will be required to return the academic attire soon after graduation, before they collect their certificates.

GRADUATING IN ABSENTIA

All students who intend to graduate in absentia are being encouraged to inform the Registrar as soon as possible. Such students will be required to pay a K50,000.00 fee for graduating in absentia.

REHEARSALS

Graduation rehearsals will be held on Sunday, 25th May, 2025 at MUBAS from 9:00 am. All candidates are expected to be punctual. Only those who attend rehearsals will be permitted to graduate.
