Programme Summary

In this programme, students acquire skills in the design and manufacture of Automobile systems, modelling and simulation, troubleshooting and maintenance of automobile systems, business and entrepreneurship.

Admission Criteria Requirements

Normal Entry

• Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE), “O” Level, IGCSE, or GCE English, Mathematics, Science (Physical Science (Physics or Chemistry or Biology).

Mature Entry

Entry into Year 2:

• A-Level with at least a C grade in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Drawing.
• City and Guilds Advanced Bachelor of Engineering field
• Two years of relevant experience.

Entry into Year 3:

• BSc in related engineering and science fields
• University of Malawi Bachelor of Engineering Degree in (e.g UNIMA Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical, Civil and Electrical),
• At least two years of relevant experience
• Malawi Board of Governors Diploma programmes in engineering fields, with at least two years of relevant experience
• Other related qualifications from recognised institutions may be assessed by the Admissions Office.

Entry into Year 4:

• BSc in relevant field of engineering and science.
• Other related qualification from recognised institutions may be assessed by the Admissions Office
