The program produces Engineers capable of managing electrical engineering equipment, machines and applying principles and techniques in electrical engineering technologies.
Admission Criteria Requirements
The selection of applicants is based upon consideration of individual academic achievement.
Normal Entry
- A candidate with a Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE), “O” Level, IGCSE, or GCE with English, Mathematics, Physical Science (Physics and Chemistry) can be admitted into the programme at year one.
Mature Entry
Entry in Year 2:
- City and Guilds Advanced diploma in Engineering or its equivalent
- MSCE with six credits including Mathematics and Physical Science.
Entry into Year 3:
- Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or its equivalent
- MSCE with six credits including Mathematics and Physical Science.
