Programme Summary

The programme aimed at impacting skills in extractive and metallurgical sectors and students acquire skills in of mineral beneficiation and metal and materials processing. 

Admission Criteria Requirements

Normal Entry

• A candidate with a Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE), “O” Level, IGCSE, or GCE with English, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry). 

Mature Entry

Entry into Year 2:

• A-Level with at least a C grade in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Entry into Year 3:

• Diploma in Geological/Mining/Petroleum/Metallurgy and Mineral Processing Engineering/Civil Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/ Earth Science or;
• Other related qualification from a recognized institution of higher learning may be assessed by the Admissions Office.
