2026/2027 Intake for Economic Fee Paying, Extended Degree, Mature and Upgrading, Open Distance and e-Learning, Diploma

The Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS) is pleased to announce names of candidates who have been selected under Economic Fee Paying, Extended degree, Mature and Upgrading, Open Distance and e-Learning (ODeL) and Diploma for the 2026/2027 academic year.


ORIENTATION DATES FOR THE 2026/2027ACADEMIC YEAR

Selected candidates should report at the University campus for orientation as follows:


OPEN, DISTANCE AND e-LEARNING

Selected candidates for the 2026/2027 intake will commence their studies on 20th July 2026.

Students are required to physically report on campus for a period of two weeks, from 19th to 31st August 2026 for orientation and face-to-face contact sessions. The University will provide accommodation for those who may need it at a fee.


Accommodation is available for ODeL students who would like to reside on campus during orientation period. Keys will be obtained from office of Hostel Liasion officer on Sunday 18th July 2026 from 10 AM and returned by 24th July 2026, 10 AM. Interested students should deposit accommodation fee of K15,000 into the following MUBAS National Bank Account, Account Number 737461. Proof of payment will be required when collecting the room key.


ECONOMIC FEE-PAYING AND EXTENDED DEGREE

Selected candidates are required to report for orientation from 27th July to 31st August 2026


DIPLOMA

Selected candidates are required to report for orientation on Saturday, 1st August, 2026


MATURE AND UPGRADING

Selected candidates will commence studies in January, 2027


Board and Lodge

All candidates have been selected on non-residential basis and therefore, are required to make their own arrangements for accommodation, transport and meals.

Warning Against Fraudsters

MUBAS does not transact through agents and does not operate Airtel Money or Mpamba accounts. All payments must be made directly to the Bank strictly using the details provided the admission letter. Each student will be assigned a unique account number, provided in their admission letter. Candidates, parents, and guardians are strongly cautioned against making any payments outside the official channels stated in the admission letters.
