The Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS), a leading institution in entrepreneurship and innovation, was established as a public university by an Act of Parliament Number 19 of 2019. The University is positioned to meet the multi-faced needs of industry and society at large, by offering a range of undergraduate programmes in the following Schools:

1. Built Environment
2. Business and Economic Sciences
3. Education, Communication and Media Studies
4. Engineering
5. Science and Technology.

The University is inviting applications from suitably qualified persons for admission into its mature entry and upgrading programmes for the 2026/2027 academic year.

GENERAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

The requirement for admission into the university shall be based on:

1. Six credits at MSCE or its equivalent including English Language plus relevant Diploma qualification from an accredited institution.
2. Four credits at MSCE or its equivalent including English Language plus relevant Diploma qualification and a minimum of 2 years’ relevant work experience

TUITION FEES PER ANNUM

Tuition fees per annum for the programmes in the School Engineering; School of Science and Technology and School of Education, Communication and Media Studies; Malawians/SADC: MWK 1,000,000.00, NON-SADC: USD4,000.00.

Tuition fees per annum for programmes in the School of Built Environment and School of Business and Economic Sciences: Malawians/SADC: MWK 1,000,000.00; NON-SADC: USD2,000.
