2026/2027 Intake for Mature Entry and Upgrading Programmes - Call for Applications

The Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS), a leading institution in entrepreneurship and innovation, was established as a public university by an Act of Parliament Number 19 of 2019. The University is positioned to meet the multi-faced needs of industry and society at large, by offering a range of undergraduate programmes in the following Schools:Built EnvironmentBusiness and Economic SciencesEducation, Communication and Media StudiesEngineeringScience and Technology.The University is inviting applications from suitably qualified persons for admission into its mature entry and upgrading programmes for the 2026/2027 academic year.GENERAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTSThe requirement for admission into the university shall be based on:Six credits at MSCE or its equivalent including English Language plus relevant Diploma qualification from an accredited institution.Four credits at MSCE or its equivalent including English Language plus relevant Diploma qualification and a minimum of 2 years’ relevant work experienceSpecific requirements for each programme are detailed in the full advert below.TUITION FEES PER ANNUMTuition fees per annum for the programmes in the School Engineering; School of Science and Technology and School of Education, Communication and Media Studies; Malawians/SADC: MWK 1,000,000.00, NON-SADC: USD4,000.00.Tuition fees per annum for programmes in the School of Built Environment and School of Business and Economic Sciences: Malawians/SADC: MWK 1,000,000.00; NON-SADC: USD2,000.Please note that the fees indicated above are subject to change anytime.APPLICATION PROCEDUREInterested applicants should complete the application form through the following link https://admissions.mubas.ac.mw/.All applicantsare required to deposit their application fee of K15,000 for Malawians and U$25 for international applicants to the following bank account:BANK NAME: NATIONAL BANKBRANCH: CHICHIRIACCOUNT NAME: POLYTECHNIC REVENUEACCOUNT NUMBER: 737461SWIFT CODE: NBMAMWMWSORT CODE/BRANCH CODE: 003For any inquiries, please contact:The Registrar (Attention Admissions Office)Malawi University of Business and Applied SciencesPrivate Bag 303ChichiriBlantyre 3Incomplete applications shall not be processed.The closing date for receiving applications is Wednesday, 3rd June, 2026.
