The orientation, which was conducted online, marks a significant milestone for MDC, confirming the program’s status as a premier training for Malawi’s top tier professionals. Building on the foundation laid by the first cohort, this new intake brings together leaders from diverse backgrounds, all seeking to refine their strategic management skills.

Speaking during the orientation, MDC’s Centre Manager Dr Ella Kangaude, emphasized that the continued interest in the program reflects a growing corporate culture that values lifelong learning and adaptive leadership.

“We are not just continuing a course, we are fostering a community of practice that will drive national transformation”, she said.

The success of the first cohort proved that there is a growing need for practical, high level management training in Malawi. The second cohort will undergo an intensive three- month training, tackling modules designed for the current fast paced business and leadership intricacies.
