Participants explored innovative approaches to water resource management, conservation practices, and community-led initiatives. By combining research insights with local knowledge, the workshop aimed to deliver tangible solutions that benefit both residents and surrounding communities.
The workshop reflects MUBAS’ commitment to translating academic research into real-world impact by working closely with communities. One of the school representatives, Petra Chiipa said “we can develop strategies that address immediate water challenges while building sustainable practices for the future”.
The ideas and solutions discussed in Mangochi are already informing projects and inspiring action beyond the district. MUBAS continues to engage with other institutions and stakeholders, ensuring that lessons learned extend far beyond the walls of the workshop.
